The Stewart Project will transform an underused property in Baldwin Park into a thriving community of 15 affordable homes for low-income, first-time homebuyers.

“This project is an exciting opportunity for our community to see the impact of their generosity,” said Paul Van Ast, Director of Donor Partnerships. “Every contribution brings us closer to creating 15 affordable homes and giving more families the opportunity to build long-term stability through homeownership.”

The Stewart Project is especially meaningful as San Gabriel Valley Habitat for Humanity continues its extensive Eaton Fire recovery work in Altadena. While rebuilding homes for fire survivors remains a critical priority, projects like Stewart demonstrate that the need for affordable homeownership extends across the San Gabriel Valley—and that SGV Habitat remains committed to creating more opportunities for families throughout our service area.
