Accounting/Office Assistant

The Accounting/Office Assistant at San Gabriel Valley Habitat for Humanity is responsible for supporting the Finance Department with light bookkeeping and administrative tasks. This includes supporting the day-to-day with data entry, reconciliation, and administrative tasks including answering the phone, filing, assisting visitors, management appointments and ordering office supplies.

This person must demonstration exception organizational skills, positive attitude, and effectively communicate and answer questions regarding our programs in a timely manner.

Resource Development Internship

Build your resume while making a major impact on the housing crisis in the San Gabriel Valley.

You and your internship are important to us and we want to make sure you get the most out of your experience. You will have a professional staff mentor guide you through designing and executing projects which give you experience by putting your academic knowledge into practice.

All interns can expect to receive a thorough orientation about Habitat for Humanity, have access to our Senior Leadership Team and professional staff for networking and discussions, and receive direct training with the department(s) relevant to your internship projects. At the end of your internship, you will be able to compile a portfolio of your successes and learning and have a myriad of outcomes to share with future interviewers.

We pride ourselves on creating meaningful, life-changing experiences for our Habitat HomeBuyers and Volunteers – our interns deserve this as well. Below are areas for potential projects and/or areas of learning for our interns, and if you have other ideas and we can ethically accommodate you, we will!
