Four hundred guests helped raise over $80,000 for affordable housing on June 14th, a beautiful and balmy summer evening, at the spectacular grounds of Pasadena’s Ambassador Auditorium. Honorary Chairs for the event were Pasadena’s Mayor Bill Bogaard and his wife Claire. The Honorary Committee was comprised of Mark Azizi, The Reverend Ed Bacon, Elisa Callow, Bill and Brenda Galloway, David and Janet Lazier, Joan McCarthy, Assemblymember Anthony Portantino, Betty Sandford, Thomas Suess, Anil Verma, and Tom Verti.

San Gabriel Valley Habitat for Humanity is opening new doors for affordable housing in Monrovia. A total of $533,000 in cash must be raised to build four houses on Sherman Avenue. The groundbreaking target of $350,000 raised is rapidly approaching.
Saturday, September 13, 2008, at 2 p.m. has been set for the Groundbreaking Ceremony for the Sherman Homes!
