Success Story - Phyllis
Phyllis is one of our first Habitat Homeowners. Prior to purchasing her own home, Phyllis, a single mother of two, was living in a small apartment with her daughter and son. While she lived in a declining neighborhood – her rent continued to climb.
After becoming a Habitat Homeowner, she diligently made every mortgage payment until paying off her home in 2012. Since then, her two children have grown up, graduated from college, and have achieved many personal and professional goals – all thanks to donors and volunteers like you.
