An Evening to Appreciate Our Volunteers
On April 24, 2025, SGV Habitat celebrated Volunteer Appreciation Week with a special evening dedicated to the incredible individuals who give their time and talents to support our mission.
Our Volunteer Team hosted a heartfelt Habitat Heroes appreciation night, honoring volunteers from across our community—from construction sites and the ReStore to our Monrovia HQ. The evening was filled with delicious food, sweet treats, refreshing drinks, and meaningful conversations.
Staff shared exciting updates on upcoming projects and took time to recognize just how essential volunteers are to everything we do. Throughout the week, we also spotlighted some of our outstanding volunteers on social media.

This past April, as we prepared for the work ahead in Altadena, volunteers showed up in powerful ways. From workforce development groups stepping into new opportunities to participants in Women Build, each person brought time, energy, and heart to our mission.
