2022 Women Build: Standing Side by Side Building Hope in your Community
Women know a thing or two about building lives and during the Women Build Event May 6-7th they learned about building houses too. The first in person event since the pandemic, Women Build provided the opportunity to honor the generations of trailblazing women and girls who have built our nation, shaped our progress, and strengthened our character.
With each nail hammered into the beams, volunteers literally set a foundation for two families in the Pasadena community. Once complete, these 2 attached single-family homes will boast 3 bedrooms and 2 baths and enough space to house memories, hopes and dreams.
The event speaks to the strength of women in our community, coming together, inspiring each other to be a part of change. The event would not have been possible without the strength of the women participating, and the generous support of East West Bank, C.W. Driver Companies, Union Bank and others who sponsored and supported the event.
