Raise the Roof 2025 event will honor Altadena!
Since the beginning we have been sharing that SGV Habitat will be there for Altadena and the other areas impacted by the Eaton Fire.
Our plan is long-term recovery efforts and you can help! The 2025 Gala event will honor what makes Altadena unique and special and help raise funds that will assist SGV Habitat’s efforts to restore and rebuild.
Our rebuilding efforts are part of a broader, long-term vision for Altadena’s recovery. We have listened closely to fire-impacted residents and designed our approach around their needs, whether it’s rebuilding their primary home, adding an ADU to support family, or navigating complex insurance and permitting systems. Everything we do is rooted in preserving what makes this community special: multigenerational households, neighborhood character, and the sense of belonging that many families have built over decades.
We are committed to ensuring that fire recovery strengthens—not fragments—the community. SGV Habitat actively coordinates with other local organizations, attends coalition meetings, and shares updates at public events and neighborhood forums. Our work fits into a larger collective effort to rebuild Altadena in a way that is equitable, resilient, and deeply connected to the people who call it home.
