Show off your school pride and competitive spirit by representing your high school, college, or trade school. From March 1st through March 31st, current students and alumni of all ages can volunteer individually or in groups at the ReStore, on a build site, or both, while wearing school-pride gear to earn points for their alma mater.
Why earn points? The school with the most points will win an exciting scholarship! The winner will be announced on April 6 during half time of the NCAA championship basketball game (on SGV Habitat social channels). But wait…There’s MORE! Donate $50 (Habitat is now 50 years old!) or more between March 1st through March 14th and receive an official March Madness ™ bracket for both the men’s and women’s NCAA basketball tournaments! The winner of each Bracket contest will not only have helped fund the scholarship, but will also win an additional surPRIZE!
Every donation made in support of March Match Madness will be matched by the DeNova Community Fund up to $50,000!

What do you mean by Scholarship?
The school with the most volunteer points will receive a $2,000 scholarship to be awarded by the school to a student with a strong record of community volunteer service.
What does Alumni mean for March Match Madness?
Alumni includes graduates, current students, and past students (whether you graduated or not). You can represent any one of the schools you ever attended.
What counts as a volunteer point?
Any volunteer shift you serve, at a construction site, in the Monrovia office, or at the Pasadena ReStore counts for one point.
Do I have to donate money?
No. Your time is a donation! To enter the Bracket Contest or to contribute to the scholarship fund, or to help meet the $50K match, you do have to donate money.
