The wildfires impacting our service area have brought challenges to many, including our Habitat family. San Gabriel Valley Habitat for Humanity is heartbroken over the destruction. We are sad to report those affected include one of our recent Habitat homeowners, several home preservation partners and many ReStore vendors who have lost their homes.
As this tragedy continues we send a heartfelt thank you to the first responders, volunteers and community organizations who are working to protect and serve all of us. While our first responders address immediate needs, we are preparing for the work ahead to provide lasting solutions for affected families. If your household has been impacted and you are interested in assistance with household items, minor or major home repairs or considering Habitat for Humanity for rebuilding, please fill out this form and someone will get back to you. If you are interested in joining us in this work, please add your name to our Volunteer Interest List.
Important Deadline: Altadena and Pasadena residents whose homes were damaged or destroyed by the Eaton Fire now have until April 15, 2025 to submit a Right of Entry form to opt-in to the government-run debris removal program or opt-out.
